we value faith, family, friends and freedom. it’s our pleasure to help you create an adventure worth never forgetting . . . so come on, what are you waiting for “LET’S GO SOMEWHERE”!
We’re David and Jenn, a family of five. We started Wren + Road to help people ENJOY what we love about camping—family time . . . unwinding . . . adventure . . . unplugging . . . discovery . . . connection . . . relaxation . . . new sights and sounds . . . but mostly FREEDOM.
[Our home base in the Mayberry-like town of Greendale, Indiana — surrounded within 30 miles of many great campgrounds and state parks. Our RV’s can be used to discover these places or to experience the wonder of traveling to other exciting destinations.]
The breakdown of Wren + Road came when we had an overwhelming sense of FREEDOM in 2016. We had started to see LIFE through a whole new lens. We felt truly as FREE as the blackbird. [but how generic is the blackbird?] Let’s agree right now, they are dull and ugly! But the WREN, a SONGBIRD! Now, that amplifies FREEDOM. Put it together with the wide open road and you get WREN + ROAD.
WE BIRTHED THIS IDEA FOR A FEW REASONS. FIRST OFF, WE DESIRE TO SEE EVERY FAMILY RECONNECT AND DISCOVER GOD’S BEAUTIFUL CREATION. SECONDLY, DON’T ADD YOUR CAMPER TO THE STORAGE YARD AND PAY ALL THE MANY MONTHLY PAYMENTS FOR THE FEW CAMPING TRIPS YOU WILL MAKE EACH YEAR. [LETS FACE IT WE ALL HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR EVERY WEEKEND, BUT THEN LIFE HAPPENS AND THAT HOPE BECOMES A WISH]
